Air to Water Heat Pump
As the name suggests this heat pump takes heat from the outside air and uses it to heat water for your home and heating system.
It uses an extractor fan that is attached to the outside of your house. This then pipes the heat through to a heat recovery system that in combination with refrigerant heats a water tank.
This hot water can then be used in your home. This system can also be used for heating the house.
Using Air to water heat pumps to heat your house is more efficient when you used underfloor heating as this requires a lower water temperature and so requires less energy generated by electricity. The less energy you use the more efficient the system is.
